Sales Associate

Location: Downtown Wine + Spirits – Gay Street, Knoxville, TN
Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with their wine and spirits selections
• Provide product knowledge and make recommendations based on customer preferences
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to complete transactions
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including stocking shelves and rotating inventory
• Assist with receiving and unpacking deliveries
• Set up displays and promotional items
• Develop a strong understanding of wine, liquor, and craft beverage trends
• Collaborate with the team to meet sales goals and enhance the customer experience

Qualifications:

• Previous retail, hospitality, or sales experience (experience in wine or spirits is a plus)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings
• Basic knowledge of wine, spirits, and craft beverages or willingness to learn
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude
• Must be 21+ years old
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs
